    As a self harmer this article was incredibly helpful. I become so full of anger at myself and the world that it is impossible to cope with mentally. Cutting and vomiting allows me to transfer some of this anger physically and often calms me down and stills the overwhelming chaos that I am unable to cope with.

    Exactly how I would put it.
    I self harm about 2/3 times a year usually following some form of abandonment or rejection. Im 38 and has been part of life for me for 23 years. I hate that I do it but I really can’t see a viable alternative.
