Julia Segal is a Kleinian Psychotherapist and a Fellow of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. She has worked in the NHS for the past 25 years, mainly with people who have physical illnesses. She is the author of many papers and several books including Phantasy in Everyday Life: a Kleinian Approach to Understanding Ourselves (Penguins, Karnac, Aronson) and Melanie Klein: Key Figures in Counselling and Psychotherapy (Sage Books). She is on the editorial board of Psychodynamic Practice.
